The Human Condition

Do you ever have one of those perfect moments?
When all the puzzle pieces fit just right
Despite the big puzzle of our lives
When you want to remember it always
When you start looking for a souvenir
Something tangible to remember it by
Before the moment passes, fades away
Because you know it will, in all surety.
But you can't,
You can't find one to remember it by,
And hold the memory on to.
But he helps you find one,
Because he is a puzzle piece,
Fitting,
Just right,
But you know you'll lose him too.
